If you’re like most of my readers, you’re looking for a way to get in shape. Maybe that means losing weight, adding muscle, improving your cardiovascular abilities, or finally getting off some, or all, your medications. You’re overwhelmed by the amount of advice out there, most of it contradictory. Amidst the noise, you just can’t figure out where to start when there is so much to do and the goal seems so distant. You’re in the right place…because that’s EXACTLY where I was, too!

Perhaps you are well on your way to being the best you possible. You wish to learn more, break through a plateau, or get that edge to be a little better than you are now. This site is for you as much as it is the person just starting out on their journey.

I Completely Understand

I have been at each and EVERY ONE of those places…multiple times. I understand what it feels like to be drowning in information. I was severely overweight, time starved, exhausted, and saw so many people get the results I was unable to achieve for myself.

I work a full time day job that takes me across the country and the world. I write. I manage several websites and social media accounts. I run two businesses of my own. I completed the Coaches Course through Eat To Perform and am now on staff. I am a Crossfit Level-1 Trainer. I have family and household needs to manage (how does laundry multiply so quickly?).

How do I fit in exercise, learning, and preparing healthy meals? It can be done and I can show you how.

My Goal For This Site

As I started losing weight and getting in shape, these are all concerns and questions I heard from others trying to do the same thing. I guess I became one of those people getting results like the people I saw and always wondered how they did it. I’m here to help you answer those same questions and conquer your doubts and fears.

Here are a few of the things you will learn on this site:

  • How to set priorities and reach your goals
  • How to find the time to make it happen
  • How to eat to lose weight and gain muscle
  • How to improve your metabolism so you burn more fat, even at rest
  • How to prepare for a busy week
  • Why you probably need to eat more and workout less. Yes, you read that right.

While the content on my blog is all free, I do offer a number of products for sale in my store. You can also find links in the store to supplements and nutritional products that I use.

If you are interested in nutrition coaching, that is available for a very small yearly fee through Eat To Perform, as I am a graduate of their Coaches Course and a staff member. Not only am I available to coach you, help design a nutrition program, and answer your questions, but you will also have access to the founder of Eat To Perform, scientists, and other coaches. Through the private Facebook group I have even been able to interact directly with athletes that compete in the Crossfit Games who follow this program for their nutritional coaching!

I firmly believe in having a plan and starting small. You didn’t get where you are all at once, and you don’t have to turn it around in a day. Reclaiming your health is a journey, not a sprint. You only have to manage one day at a time, and you don’t have to do it alone. All you need is the desire and information. You provide the first, and I’ll give you the second.
